www.Holidays-Dubai.co.uk is the trading name of Holidays Dubai Limited.
Our Terms & Conditions as laid out in this document serve the basis of your contract with www.holidays-dubai.co.uk and cover all holiday bookings. We expect you to read this policy document to understand your rights and obligations. This contract is with Holidays-Dubai with registered office at 85 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 7LT.
As you book holiday with us, do make sure that you are authorized to accept these terms and conditions on behalf of other party members. This contract will come into action soon as you accept a deposit to receive our confirmation invoice. (In some cases, we may ask you to make complete payment, and you will be advised accordingly at the time of your flight booking). Our contract would be governed in accordance with the English Law and will be covered under the jurisdiction of the English Courts. At the same time, you’ll have the option to choose the jurisdictions of courts of Northern Ireland or Scotland.
Important: As you receive the conformation invoice for your holiday booking, you will be responsible to check whether the information provided in it is accurate and subsequently bring to our notice any discrepancy that you come across. We are not liable for any incorrect information printed on your ticket(s).
Your Financial Protection
We provide complete financial safeguard for our package holidays. You will be purchasing a TTA protected package with us, and will receive a confirmation invoice confirming your travel arrangements and ensuring adequate travel protection. In any unlikely event of insolvency, TTA (Travel Trust Association) ensures that passengers are not stranded abroad and are given adequate refund for the payment made for holiday reservation. Your Holiday Price
- We have the right to change holiday package prices as published on our website. We advise the current (latest) price for your requested holiday before we confirm your reservation.
- All fares mentioned on our website cover flights and 7 night stay for two adults & two children. These include all prepaid fees and taxes.
- While deciding to go ahead with our booking, you will be required to make a deposit for confirmation of your reservation. (where there are ticketing time limits applicable, full prices will be applicable which would be advised during flight booking). The balance amount must be paid twelve weeks before your date of departure, failing which, your travel arrangements would be cancelled and deposit withheld.
- Fare changes due to transportation costs, including fuel costs, landing taxes or embarkation/disembarkation fees at respective airports could be levied even after completion of the booking process.
- For payments made via cheques, you need to ensure that it is payable to "Holidays Dubai Limited".
The balance amount must be paid twelve weeks before the date of departure or prior to the due date that is mentioned on your confirmation invoice. If you fail to make the required payment on time, we may have to cancel your booking wherein you will have to pay the cancellation charges.
Where you wish to make any changes to your travel arrangements after we issue your confirmation invoice, we will do our best to incorporate such changes, but cannot guarantee the same. You may place your request for changes in writing for which an administration fee of £25.00/person will be applicable, along with other relevant costs that we may incur for facilitating such request. Such costs increase as departure date approaches, and you may contact us for any information on this.
Note: Some travel arrangements may not be change after completion of reservation. In such cases, you may be required to full payment of booking prices. So please go through the terms and conditions relevant to cancellation and date changes mentioned in your booking confirmation.
We have kept in place adequate measures to ensure that the prices mentioned on our website are correct, however, we do anticipate few errors as part of the price extraction and publication process. Wherever we come across such unexpected errors, you will be duly notified about the same within 7 days of booking time. If your booking is yet to complete, you will have the option of continuing with the same fare where alternative fare happens to be more than that provided earlier. If we find your booking cancellation as indispensable, we will pay the compensation which will be decided accordingly. For major travel changes where there is enough time left for your departure, you will be notified at earliest. Subsequently, depending on the availability, you may choose to go with an alternate holiday offer that you find of comparable standard. (For this, any price difference will be refunded. If such options are not available, you may cancel it to receive the refund. It must be noted here that adequate compensation will be paid in all such cases except where changes are due to force majeure.
Where changes or cancellations are due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, no compensation could be guaranteed. Such causes include, among other, terrorist activities, war, riot, fire, industrial dispute, natural/nuclear disaster, inclement weather conditions, indispensable technical problems and pandemics/epidemics.
If You Have A Complaint
If you face any problem during your vacation, you may notify the respective supplier (e.g., hotel, local agent, etc.) immediately. If your problem can’t be resolved locally, you may check with us within 28 days of your return and write to our Customer Service Department at Holidays-Dubai Private Limited, 85 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 7LT, and provide your booking reference number and other necessary information. You may also mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are not able to inform us about the same, then we will be deprived of an opportunity to investigate matter and may also challenge your right as per this contract.
Our Liability To You
Where the contract is not adequately honoured either by us or by the respective supplier, we will ensure appropriate compensation in case it is clarified that the services are not being properly delivered. This liability, however, would not be invoked if non-performance of obligations on your part has been established, or where such issues are a result of unforeseeable or unavoidable circumstances that are beyond our control, such as may be clearly derived that these dire consequences couldn’t have been avoided in any possible way.
Except for cases involving illness, death or injury, our liability will be limited to a maximum of 0.5 times the total costs of your travel arrangement. This limitation would be in accordance with:
(b) International travel conventions that include the Montreal Convention for air travel, the Berne Convention for rail travel, the Athens Convention for sea travel and the Paris Convention for accommodation provisions, which puts limitation on compensation amount to be claimed for death, injury and delay to passengers or loss, damage and luggage delay.
You may leave a request for copies of the contractual terms of transport companies, or of the related international conventions, from our offices at 85 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 7LT. According to the EU law (Regulations 261/2004), the customer holds the right in circumstances associated with refunds and/or compensation by the respective airline where one is denied boarding, or in cases related to cancellations or delays. All EU airports offer complete details of these rights and one may obtain these from the respective airlines. However, compensation terms in these cases do not automatically make one eligible for refund of entire holiday costs.
Quick Assistance While in Resort
In the event of breach of contract as a result of failures attributed to a third party not connected with delivery of these services, or due to issues arising out of unforeseeable or unusual circumstances beyond our control, such that its results couldn’t be avoided even with due care, and which results in any degree of suffering, injury or material losses, we will be there for quick assistance as would be reasonable under such circumstances.
Passport, Visa and Immigration Requirements
Visa and passport requirements, and other associated travel formalities will be your own responsibility, and you may check with the respective embassies and/or consulates for any clarification on this front. We are not responsible in cases where one couldn’t travel because of non-compliance of any passport, visa, or immigration requirement.
Note: Those who do not have passports marked as “British Citizen” will be expected to go through the relevant requirements as respective Consulate or Embassy of the visiting country mandates.
Those travelling via the US will be expected to carry a machine readable passport. Further, all children must also carry along passports of their own, especially while travelling to the United States. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beginning from the end of journey.
Note: Those travelling to the US may apply for a visa before their scheduled departure on the following website - https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov (charges are applicable for this service).
Information like flight numbers, airlines details, and destination airport will be provided in your confirmation invoice. Please note here that no airline can guarantee flight departure timings and you expect some schedule changes due to air traffic control restrictions, bad weather conditions and operational/technical glitches. We won’t be liable for any changes in your arrival/departure timings which are mentioned in your confirmation mail. It would be better to confirm your flight departure time at least 72 hours before your scheduled departure. In case the flight is delayed, Holidays-Dubai won’t be able to make any special arrangements for passengers as it will be the sole responsibility of the respective airline or the ground handling agents. No specific aircraft-type or preferred seat is guaranteed.
We are not liable for delays, flight cancellations, lost or delayed luggage, natural disasters, or any industrial disputes. So, it is hereby expressed in this contract that travel should be adequately insured.
Medical Problems and Special Requests
For special requests like inter-connecting rooms, low/high floor, etc., you may consult with our executives at the time of flight booking. Your request will be taken to the respective supplier, and we, on our part, cannot guarantee such services before your departure. Further, where such special requests are not considered, it would not be taken as any breach of contract from our side. If your disability could affect your travel arrangements, you may notify us about the same in writing along with complete details of your conditions. We will make every possible effort to accommodate your requirements.
You will receive an email with an e-ticket attachment for your travel. E-ticket is an electronically-generated paperless ticket that is stored in the airline booking system.
Your travel documents will include an e-ticket, accommodation voucher, transfer voucher, etc. These documents will be mailed about 10-14 days prior to flight departure to every member of the party for whom the ticket has been booked. You will be expected to verify these details along with the acceptable forms of identification.
Note:: Acceptable forms of identification include passports or any other relevant Travel Document issued by the authorities in place of passport.
We expect at least one member of your party to travel with an authorized credit card that will be required during hotel check-in or for car rentals.
The information associated with travel distances and hotel locations on the maps are meant for indicative purposes only. Those who need an accommodation near the city-center or any particular location may choose to check-in directly through the hotel website.
The party leader will be responsible to ensure proper behavior on the part of all the members of the party. In cases of any misconduct like physical harm and property damage, the suppliers (e.g., hotel, transfer agent, airlines, etc.) will have the prerogative to cancel your travel arrangement booked with us on your behalf, and will also nullify this contract. Further, you would be liable to reimburse all the expenses incurred as a result of such misconduct.
It is not always possible for us to include departure taxes in your ticket – there may be cases where such taxes should be paid at local level and payable directly to the Government of the country being visited. Departure taxes are usually non-refundable.
Some information might be issued by Foreign Commonwealth Travel Advice Unit pertaining to your holiday destination. You may see this on BBC (Cefax) page 470 or on their official website www.fco.gov.uk.
Kindly note that we randomly record the telephone calls that you make or receive for your reservation to help us improve our services.
Hotel and Cruise Ship ratings
The hotel and cruise ratings mentioned on this web site are for general understanding of their service standards and do not represent any official grading system. Some variations in the actual hotel standards lying with same grade may be expected in different countries and even within the same country. For example, a 5-star hotel one country may not necessarily offer same quality of services as a 5-star hotel in another country.
Please note here that cruise ships and hotels booked with us are not exclusive to Holidays Dubai. Further, we won’t be responsible for any hotel feature cruise service as displayed on our website. These facilities and other associated property features may alter without any notification issued beforehand by Holidays Dubai. Cabin or room images may not necessarily represent the exact room configuration. For example, a North American quad room may consist of 2 double beds and a room for two, while one in a European hotel has only two single beds. Hotels may also charge an additional fee for bed or extra cost. We expect you to inform us about any special requirement at the time of your holiday booking. We will take your request to the respective supplier, but cannot guarantee such services since they do not form a part of this contract.
Carrying Proof of Booking
Make sure that you are travelling with all the necessary documents needed for your travel. These cover booking confirmation, e-tickets, or any other travel documents like passport and relevant visa. We are not liable for the failure of any supplier to render any service under the booked product or service as a result to your inability to share such documents.
Information Shared With Us
We collect your computer information to ascertain our ad effectiveness. We also collect information on the basis of your browsing activities and it includes products or services viewed/booked. It is meant to enable us to offer effective services tailored as per your travel needs. Such information is used to measure entry and exit points to other pages and sections of our site and associated details. It may also be used for analyzing our advertising banners and employ them effectively. This information may be shared with third parties as an aggregate and will be not be shared as personal information.
If you choose to subscribe to our e-mail newsletters, then you will be receiving promotional e-mails from our end. You may then choose to opt out from it at any moment by making a written request with our Data Controller or placing a formal request at 'email@example.com'. This could also be done by clicking the unsubscribe link that comes with every promotional mail sent by us.
Your details might be shared with authorities and concerned parties based outside the UK and the European Economic Area. This is done for processing and arranging your requested products or services. As you submit your booking/request with us, you give allow us to use, manage or share your personal information with the concerned parties.
